10-year-old Texas boy kills himself after relentless bullying, mom says

Screen-Shot-2019-03-28-at-12.24.59-PMDARK AND DEADLY ISSUE: 26 children in the Houston area committed suicide in the last year, including Kevin Reese in Cy-Fair ISD.

KATY, Texas (WPVI) — A 10-year-old boy in Texas took his own life, apparently due to relentless bullying, his mom says.

“I never thought he would go this far, never,” Crystal Smith said. “I’m still in disbelief, and it’s taking me a while to actually accept the fact that this happened.”

KTRK-TV reports, Smith said her son, Kevin Reese, Jr., loved drawing and painting. The fifth grader at Robinson Elementary School had the biggest smile, and on the surface, he was a seemingly happy kid.

“Kevin was a goofy child,” Smith said. “He’s my little goof troop, I called him.”

But on the inside, he had a deep-seated struggle his mom says was fueled by bullying at school.

“I just thought he was handling the situations,” she said. “They wrote on his tablet to kill yourself. ‘You don’t belong here.’ When it got physical back in November, he came home crying because he didn’t fight back and one of the boys punched him several times coming from recess.”

Then, on January 21, he and his 13-year-old sister got off the school bus. Their mom was out of town for work, and their stepfather was on his way home. But he wouldn’t make it in time to stop the moment that would change the family forever.

“He just had enough,” Smith said. “He just had enough, and he felt that he was backed into a corner.”

Smith got a frantic call from Kevin’s sister.

“She was just screaming on the phone, and I didn’t understand,” she said. “And she screamed, ‘Kevin.'”

Reese had killed himself inside their Katy home.

“He hung himself in his closet,” Smith said. “I told her to hang on with me, if you cut him down and while you’re cutting him down, call 911.”

Sadly, it was too late.
“Everything was not real,” Smith said. “I was in a place where I just couldn’t move.”

Reese joins a growing list of children ending their lives.

“It’s becoming unfortunately quite an epidemic, and it’s not just here, it’s all over,” said Allie Sauls, a child counselor at Heritage Behavioral Health Consultants.

Sauls said she’s seeing four main factors with her young patients: pressure at school, social media, problems at home, and bullying.

“It is rampant in schools, and I think that is because it is becoming so covert,” Sauls said.

She said schools must have a safe system in place. After Reese’s suicide, Smith said she reached out to the school.
“They told me they never found any bullying going on,” she said.

Smith spends her days wishing her little boy was still here, and she’s telling his story in the hopes of helping other families.

“Pay attention to your child,” she said. “Don’t assume that things are handled at the school. Stay on top of it until you see something come out on the end.”

BREAKING!! PARIS JACKSON HOSPITALIZED AFTER ATTEMPTED SUICIDE

0316-paris-jackson-tmz-4

Paris Jackson was hospitalized Saturday after she attempted suicide — and family sources tell us it’s due in large to the fallout from “Leaving Neverland.”

Law enforcement sources tell us police and EMS responded to Paris’ LA home at 7:30 AM. We’re told Michael Jackson‘s only daughter slit her wrists. Our sources say she was transported to a hospital and placed on 5150 hold. She’s currently in stable condition.

Sources with knowledge tell us Paris did this in direct response to the allegations made against her father in “Leaving Neverland” — a documentary in which Wade Robson and James Safechuck accuse MJ of molesting them as children.

As we reported … Paris was standing firm behind her dad and maintaining his innocence, even though she hadn’t seen the doc yet. We’re told the Jackson kids have been in turmoil over the renewed allegations … and that they feel the doc was one-sided and unfair.

The fallout from “Leaving Neverland” has been severe. Michael’s music and TV appearances have been getting muted since HBO aired the project.

Paris has had hard time since her dad’s death in 2009. She attempted suicide back in 2013 as well, and has been open about her struggles with depression in the past.

Our sources say Paris is currently being closely monitored by a team of doctors.

Mother ‘took cocaine then drove head-on into truck and killed her children’

Kanosha Bason has been charged with six counts of vehicular homicide after driving her SUV into a truck and killing her two children as well as her brother (Pictured following a previous arrest/WKBN)

A mother got high on weed and cocaine before driving her car down the wrong side of a freeway and into a truck, killing her two young children, police say.

Kanosha Bason, 25, was also found with alcohol in her system after the February 23 crash that killed her son Noreyion, 7, and daughter Nia’Laisha, 5, as well as her brother Cedrick Lyons, 32, police say.

Lab tests subsequently showed that Bason was not legally over the limit that morning, but that she was likely impaired by what she had consumed.

The horror smash happened after she drove her SUV into oncoming traffic on an interstate connecter along Route 711 in Youngtown, Oh.

It saw her collide head-on with a tractor trailer that was hauling steel beams.

As a result of recent lab results, Bason was charged with vehicular homicide Monday, with US Marshals currently now trying to establish her current whereabouts.

Truck driver Gilbert Demello, who survived the impact told WKBN that Bason was driving at high speed when they collided.

He added: ‘I was going to walk down and the lady said, “There’s three babies, three babies on the ground, dead.”‘

Speaking about the charges, Youngstown City Law director Jeff Limbian said: ‘There were factors under both her urine screens and her blood screens that suggested that we should do it, charges in the alternative.’

Asked about the delay in bringing charges, he said: ‘It’s more important that we get it right than that we get it done fast.’

Incest Dad Who Killed Daughter, Their Baby in Murder-Suicide Abused Her as Small Child, Says Mom!

82C20462-125D-4E61-BFC7-956C6919254C

The man who impregnated his biological daughter before killing her, their infant son and himself in April was physically abusive toward the girl when she was an infant, his ex-wife said in a recent interview.

“I knew from the very beginning that I had to get Katie away from him to give her a chance in life,” Alyssa Pladl told DailyMailTV, explaining her decision to place Katie Pladl for adoption as a small child.

Katie and father Steven Pladl would later reunite. After Steven impregnated Katie, the couple was arrested in January on incest and related charges.

Of the 20-year-old Katie’s subsequent murder at the hands of Stephen Pladl, 45, Alyssa said, “Ultimately, Steve was just finishing off what he started 20 years earlier.”

According to Alyssa, when Katie was little, Steven would give her black and blue marks by pinching her. When she cried as a baby, he would put her in a cooler and close the lid for several minutes.

“He would make me wait a few minutes until I could go back and I’d open the cooler and she would just be gasping for air, drenched in sweat, bruises on her,” Alyssa said.

Despite the abuse, Alyssa stayed with Steven and eventually the couple got married and had two more children.

In the summer of 2015, Katie, who’d been adopted by a couple in Wingdale, New York, tracked down Steven on social media. The following year, she met her biological parents and moved in with them, Alyssa told DailyMailTV.

Alyssa and Steven divorced in 2017, according to arrest warrants obtained by PEOPLE. After the divorce, Katie and Steven continued to live together in Virginia.

Katie and Steven illegally married in July 2017 and in September had a baby boy before moving from Virginia to North Carolina, where they lived publicly as husband and wife.

Katie and Steven were arrested in January but released on bond in February.

On April 12, police in Knightdale, North Carolina, found the couple’s baby dead in their home following a call from Steven’s mom requesting a welfare check on the child after Steven had behaved alarmingly on the phone.

Later that day, Steven drove to Connecticut and fatally shot Katie and her adoptive father, 56-year-old Anthony Fusco. He then drove across the New York border and fatally shot himself.

“It’s been a difficult rollercoaster of emotions because I’m so devastated by the loss of Katie and her adoptive dad and baby,” Alyssa told the DailyMailTV. “But it’s such a relief that I don’t have to look over my shoulder anymore to see if Steve is there.”

Black College Student ‘LYNCHED’ In Atlanta . . . Full Video . . . Police Claim ‘Suicide’!!

lynched

There’s a developing story in Atlanta — that has people all over America on notice. A 20 something year old Black man was found hanging off the MLK Bridge by his neck. The initial report from local authorities was that the man “committed suicide.”

But video evidence suggests that he may have been HANGED.

What evidence are we talking about? Well first – the method of hanging. The victim was not handed using a rope, or a belt . . . but he was hanged using a METAL CHAIN.

Second, as you can see in the above video – the man who is reportedly a student at Morehouse College, appears to be wearing his school knapsack.

Atlanta police were called to the 600 block of MLK Drive at about 6:30 p.m. Friday.

But what’s MOST suspicious is HOW QUICKLY police determined this man’s death to be a suicide. Within HOURS of the body being located – and WITHOUT ANY WITNESSES – police closed the case and classified it as a suicide.

Despite the investigation being QUICK, reports say that:

The preliminary investigation shows the male had a chain wrapped around his neck, Atlanta police Sgt. John Chafee said. The chain was locked in several places and keys to the locks were found in one of the victim’s pockets, Chafee said. Investigators canvassed the area and located one person who said they overheard someone yelling “don’t do it,” Chafee said. The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office has not been able to notify next of kin.
