Man Who Kept Girl In Dog Cage, Sexually Assaulted Her Won’t Serve Prison Time

Michael Wysolovski, 33, was given 10 years in prison but will get off with time served from the eight months he spent in a detention center prior to sentencing.

A Georgia man was sentenced to 10 years in prison last week after holding a teenage girl captive and sexually assaulting her ― but he will not see the inside of a prison cell.

Michael Wysolovski, 33, was arrested in June 2017 after FBI agents found a 17-year-old girl, who had been missing for over a year, trapped in a dog cage in his home in Duluth, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that the victim, who HuffPost will not name because she is a sexual assault survivor, was found severely malnourished and suffering from back problems due to the dog cage. She had also contracted ringworm from the unsanitary conditions.

“The psychological damage Michael Wysolovski inflicted is beyond imagination,” the victim, clutching a stuffed animal, said in court last week, according to local outlet WIS News.

Wysolovski pled guilty last week to first-degree cruelty to children and interstate interference with custody. Although he was sentenced to 10 years in prison, Wysolovski received credit for time served during the eight months he was in a detention center prior to his sentencing. The remaining nine years and four months of his sentence will be served on probation and he will have to register as a sex offender for life.

“I don’t see any emotion from you. I don’t see any remorse from you,” Gwinnett County Superior Court Judge Timothy Hamil said during sentencing. “I am not moved to give you first offender status… In my time on the bench I can count on both hands the time I’ve refused to give someone first offender status  ― but there’s something inside me that says this is one of those times.”

Wysolovski met the victim when she was 15 in an online chat room for people with eating disorders, the AJC reports. The girl, who had anorexia, was unhappy at home and Wysolovski eventually convinced her to come live with him after she turned 16, the age of consent in Georgia.

Prosecutor Michael DeTardo said during the plea hearing that Wysolovski and the victim initially agreed to enter into a sexual relationship involving BDSM and simulating non-consensual sex acts. The victim also asked Wysolovski to control her eating habits as part of the BDSM relationship. Wysolovski, however, began abusing the boundaries, refusing to use safe words and resorting to physical violence when the victim did not comply with his demands. He later force-fed or sexually assaulted the victim as punishment, and repeatedly held her in the dog cage over the course of the year she was with him.

“He lowered my self-esteem greatly and led me to believe I would never be loved or have a proper life if I gained any weight,” the victim said in court.

She later added that she has trouble showering or walking in rain due to the alleged “water torture” Wysolovski subjected her to.

Initially, Wysolovski had also been indicted on charges of rape, false imprisonment and aggravated sodomy. DeTardo said the relationship was a “gray area” because the victim initially entered it consensually, and might be risky to bring to trial. The victim and her family did not want to go to trial and instead prioritized Wysolovski registering as a sex offender.

The victim was found after she contacted another user on the online eating disorder forum and that woman called the police.

The news of Wysolovski’s sentence comes on the heels of a similar story of a New York man named Shane Piche, who raped a 14-year-old girl he met while driving a school bus. Piche was sentenced to 10 years probation but no prison time because, according to the judge, he only raped one girl, rather than multiple.

Police say a man confessed to sexually assaulting a 3-year-old relative who later tested positive for two sexually transmitted diseases.

Drevon Alexander Perkins, 26, was charged with super aggravated sexual assault of a child under 6-years-old.

According to arrest papers, investigators were informed by CPS workers about a 3-year-old girl who had been confirmed by a hospital to have two different sexually transmitted diseases.

During questioning by police, Perkins admitted he forced the young relative into sex acts, an arrest affidavit states.

Another relative became concerned for the child and took her to a hospital.

If convicted, Perkins faces a minimum of 25 years in prison to life, plus a $10,000 fine and lifetime registration as a sex offender.

Sex offender caught in bed with teens by roommate: cops

Mitchell ThurstonOrange County Jail

A registered sex offender in Florida was caught in bed with two teenage girls after his roommate reported him to authorities, police said.

Mitchell Thurston, 34, was arrested after his roommate called his probation officer and reported that Thurston had a young girl staying with him, WESH reports.

The probation officer later responded to Thurston’s home in Orlando, where he was found in bed with two juvenile girls, one of whom told investigators she had been homeless and lived in a nearby wooded area before meeting Thurston at a bus stop. Thurston then invited her to his home, where she had been staying for about a month, she told police.

The second girl — who was previously reported missing by her mother — also met Thurston at a bus stop before going to his home, police said. He’s now facing battery and child molestation charges.

One of the girls said Thurston touched her inappropriately on two occasions while they were together in bed. Both are about 16 years old, WFTV reports.

In 2008, Thurston was convicted sexual battery on a child under 12 and was sentenced by a judge to nearly two years in prison. He was also placed under supervision as a registered sex offender for 10 years, according to the station.

Thurston’s roommate, who asked not to be identified, said he simply had to act after spotting the young girls with Thurston.

“It’s just something that I had to do,” the man told WFTV. “I just don’t feel right. Something should be done.”

Teacher faces deportation after she groomed male student for sex !

Adelaide: A former Adelaide private school teacher who groomed one of her male students for sex could be deported after being given a suspended jail sentence.

In the South Australian District Court on Monday, Bettina Schmoock was jailed for 22 months with a non-parole period of 11 months.

However both terms were suspended with the 42-year-old placed on a three-year good behaviour bond.

In sentencing submissions last week the court was told while no sexual activity ever took place, Schmoock had booked a cottage for an encounter with the boy and that her actions could not be considered “mere fantasy”.

Defence counsel said she had been affected by a four-month-long hypomanic episode, as part of her undiagnosed bipolar disorder, at the time of the offending.

In sentencing, Judge Gordon Barrett said he took into account Schmoock’s mental health at the time and that she was unlikely to be able to teach again.

He said he also gave some weight to the apprehension and anxiety caused by her possible deportation with the mother of two not being an Australian citizen.

But he said it would be wrong for him to speculate on the likelihood of her being returned to her native Germany.

A Mississippi teacher is being sought Tuesday by police who say she ran off with a teen boy — just weeks after she was arrested for alleged sexual misconduct with a student.

Oscar O’Neal, 16, was reported missing by his mother Monday and was last seen around 1 a.m. at his home in Hattiesburg, police said. There is an active arrest warrant out for Nicole Jackson, a 30-year-old former teacher at the Earl Travillion Attendance Center who previously was arrested and charged with sexual battery by a person in a position of trust or authority.

“If u see my son please contact me or my wife Lisa Oneal. We got the police involved his nickname is Lil Pooh but his real name is Oscar Oneal missing….,” read a post Monday on a Facebook page purportedly belonging to the teen’s father.

Another Facebook page believed to belong to Jackson says she is married. The age of consent in Mississippi is 16.

Hattiesburg police had been investigating Jackson since mid-March after they received a tip alleging she was having an inappropriate relationship with a student, according to WDAM. She was taken to the Forrest County Jail on April 10 and later released on $10,000 bond.

Police believe the pair could be in a dark blue Chevy Impala with the Mississippi license plate FRA-4454.

Bill Cosby is mentally preparing himself for prison!

ap18116742557728

His attorneys might still be squawking about innocence and appeals, but Bill Cosby is mentally preparing himself for prison.

“This is what they wanted,” the comedian once revered as “America’s Dad” told Page Six after a Pennsylvania jury found him guilty Thursday of drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand.

When he arrived at his suburban Philadelphia home after court, he was greeted at the door by another “victim” — his wife and most loyal supporter, Camille. She gave him a hug and a kiss, said a source who was present.

Throughout the trial, the 80-year-old Cosby repeatedly talked to Page Six about “that place.” He meant a prison cell, which might become his home for the rest of his life beginning this summer, when a judge could sentence him to a maximum of 30 years.

“When they send me to that place, I want you to be there to tell my story because it seems no one is listening, no one wants the real story,” Cosby said.

During his first trial a year ago, he also spoke to Page Six, with the agreement that nothing could be shared publicly during the legal proceeding. But at the recently concluded retrial, his public demeanor turned bitter and coarse. He could be heard using hard language: “Damn you! F–k this! Bulls–t.”

He often ground his teeth, bit his lip and clenched his fist, as the parade of female accusers told their stories of being drugged and sexually assaulted.

After the verdict was read Thursday and Judge Steven O’Neill chastised District Attorney Kevin Steele for his continued objection to allowing Cosby to remain free on bail, Cosby erupted.

“He doesn’t have a plane, you a- -hole. I’m sick of this,” Cosby screamed at Steele.

The prosecutor had said Cosby had a private plane and could escape custody.

“When there was talk of a plea bargain, I said no,” Cosby told Page Six last year. “I just refused to plead guilty to something that just didn’t happen. It didn’t happen, and Andrea knows that, and I think [prosecutors] know that.”

The deal offered in 2017 would have required Cosby to serve under house arrest, register as a sex offender and be on probation for an undisclosed period.

“Why take a deal?” he said. “Not when they want me to say that I’m a sex offender. I didn’t do what they said I did.

“But, you know, I think back to the time when Camille and I went to visit Nelson Mandela in South Africa. He was a free man, but I remember when we met him at Robben Island where he had been in a prison for all of those years. I sat in that cell where he lived, and I saw how he lived . . . what he had to eat to live and what he went through.

“So, if they send me to that place, then that’s what they will do, and I will have to go there.”
