‘We’ve got the emails’: Mike Pompeo teases preelection disclosure related to Hillary Clinton

Struggling to gain ground on Joe Biden, President Donald Trump is running against Hillary Clinton again. This time, he’s getting his dutiful secretary of State in on the act.

Mike Pompeo told the president’s supporters at Fox News that he was working to release emails from former Secretary of State Clinton into the public eye.

“We’ve got the emails, we’re getting them out,” Pompeo said during a Friday appearance on the right-wing cable channel. “We’ll get all of this information out so the American people can see it.”

Pompeo’s appearance came a day after the president complained to Fox Business that his loyal appointee had been “unable” to get the disputed correspondences from the state department, which Trump said has copies.

“Mike Pompeo has been unable to get them out, which is very sad actually,” Trump said Thursday. He added he was “not happy” with the former CIA director for that reason.

Pompeo said he would be cautious about exposing matters of confidentiality in those state department emails, but expects to have something to show before Election Day.

It’s unclear what Trump thinks is in those emails, some of which may have passed through Clinton’s private server while she was serving in the Obama administration. Pompeo did not discuss specifics. Investigations into the matter found Clinton guilty of no deliberate wrongdoing.

The president also ranted about Clinton, his rival in the 2016 election, during an unhinged mid-afternoon interview with talk show host Rush Limbaugh.

“She deleted 33,000 emails. She should be in jail for that,” Trump said. “I don’t even care if they’re … if they’re very highly confidential emails.”

The pair ran the gamut of conspiracy theories, including largely baseless assertions by the president about election fraud, immigrants and alleged spying against his presidential campaign by the former administration.

Trump also claimed he was no longer on a COVID-19 treatment program that includes steroids and dropped the F-bomb while raging about Iran.

Trump’s obsession with Clinton’s emails got the attention of special investigator Robert Mueller after the president went on television urging Russian operatives interfering in the U.S. election to find those deleted missives. Mueller found that Trump was not directly involved in aiding the Russian’s attempts to hack U.S. servers, though his campaign expected to benefit from such efforts believed to have been directed by Vladimir Putin. Putin denied involvement in hacking other D.N.C. servers and Trump said he had no reason not to believe him, despite contrary findings by U.S. intelligence officials.

Louisiana priest arrested for alleged threesome on church altar: report

A Louisianapriest who was arrested for obscenitylast week was allegedly caught having sex with two dominatrices on the altar of his church, court documents revealed, according to reports.

A witness in Pearl River, northeast of New Orleans, called police on Sept. 30 after allegedly viewing Rev. Travis Clark, 37, through a window in a state of undress on the altar romantically engaged with two high-heeled, corseted women. Clark was allegedly partially dressed in his priestly attire.

The group had allegedly set up stage lighting and appeared to be recording the encounter on a cell phone, according to the New Orleans Advocate.

The witness had become suspicious when noticing the lights at Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church were on late at night. The alleged incident was recorded and showed to police.

Clark, who has been the pastor at the church since last year, was arrested for allegedly having sex in a publicly visible location.

The two accused women, Mindy Dixon, 41, and Melissa Cheng, 23, were also arrested.

Dixon is an adult film actress and works as a dominatrix, according to the New Orleans Advocate.

A social media post from Dixon the day before her arrest said she was going to New Orleans to meet another dominatrix and “defile a house of God,” the newspaper reported.

Clark was also the chaplain of a nearby Catholic high school. He was ordained as a priest in 2013.

The Archdiocese of New Orleans said it had suspended Clark on the day of his arrest, according to WWL-TV in New Orleans.

“What upsets me is, why did he have to do that there?” Town Council member Kat Walsh said. “I’m upset for all of us, the parishioners of the church. Why there?”

Archbishop Greg Aymond went to the church days later for a church ritual to restore the altar’s sanctity, the station reported.

On the same day as the arrest, another New Orleans priest, Rev. Pat Wattigny, revealed he had allegedly sexually abused a minor in 2013, the New Orleans Advocate reported. He was removed from the ministry immediately.

Clark had taken over the chaplain position at the high school for Wattigny after he resigned last summer over allegedly inappropriate texts with a student. Clark was released from jail on a $25,000 bond and could face up to three years in prison.

Neither the archdiocese nor Clark have made public comment about the arrest.
